Oriental Rice Salad

 
For our August recipe, Berni hopes you enjoy one of her favourites, Oriental Rice Salad. The leftovers make a great fried rice!

Oriental Rice Salad
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 1.5 – 2 cups cooked frozen peas
  • Chopped green onion
  • Chopped celery
Dressing
  • ½ cup salad oil
  • 3 Tbsp soya sauce
  • 1.5 tsp celery salt
  • 1.5 tsp celery seed
  • 9 Tbsp white vinegar
  • ½ - 1 tsp curry powder
Mix dressing ingredients and toss with salad. Refrigerate about 1 hour before serving.
