Fall may be around the corner, but for now the weather is still nice and warm. This month we've got a sweet treat to keep you cool. Just make sure to eat it quickly and to brush when you're done!
Depending on size you wish to make...
For 9 x 11 inch pan
2 x 12 pack of ice cream sandwiches-can be any flavour you choose ie vanilla, chocolate or Neapolitan
2 tubs cool whip
For 8 x 8 inch pan
1 x 12 pack of ice cream sandwiches-can be any flavour you choose ie vanilla, chocolate or Neapolitan
1 tub cool whip
Unwrap ice cream sandwiches. Layer bottom of pan with ice cream sandwiches.
Cover this layer generously with cool whip or favourite whipped topping.
Another layer of ice cream sandwiches. Top layer of cool whip.
Sprinkle top with skor bits, shaved chocolate or pieces of your favourite candy bar.
Freeze. Can be made ahead 1-2 weeks.
Remove from freezer ~10-15 minutes before serving.
Mix it up as you choose ie drizzle with chocolate or caramel just before serving.
