Kendra's Brie Bake

With a full year of dinner parties and get togethers ahead of you, we wanted to make sure you're well prepared for 2017 festivities!

Kendra's Brie Bake was a hit at our own holiday potluck so we had to share it with you.

All you need is a round of brie cheese, red pepper jelly (1/3 cup), phyllo pastry dough and melted butter (1 tablespoon).

Directions
  • Defrost phyllo pastry.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Separate three to four sheets of phyllo, making sure they are big enough to wrap around the brie.
  • Brush each sheet with melted butter and stack (I fan mine so the cheese is better enclosed).
  • Place red pepper jelly in the middle. Use the brie to spread it even under the cheese.
  • Wrap the tails of phyllo up and around the cheese using extra butter to seal the edges.
  • Place smooth side up in a baking dish and brush with butter. Try to have a dish as close to the size of the brie so if it melts it is contained.
  • Bake for 10-20 minutes until top is golden brown and cheese is warmed through.
  • Enjoy with crackers, baguette, or just by itself.

    Enjoy!
