Kendra's Brie Bake
With a full year of dinner parties and get togethers ahead of you, we wanted to make sure you're well prepared for 2017 festivities!
Kendra's Brie Bake was a hit at our own holiday potluck so we had to share it with you.
All you need is a round of brie cheese, red pepper jelly (1/3 cup), phyllo pastry dough and melted butter (1 tablespoon).
Directions
Defrost phyllo pastry.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Separate three to four sheets of phyllo, making sure they are big enough to wrap around the brie.
Brush each sheet with melted butter and stack (I fan mine so the cheese is better enclosed).
Place red pepper jelly in the middle. Use the brie to spread it even under the cheese.
Wrap the tails of phyllo up and around the cheese using extra butter to seal the edges.
Place smooth side up in a baking dish and brush with butter. Try to have a dish as close to the size of the brie so if it melts it is contained.
Bake for 10-20 minutes until top is golden brown and cheese is warmed through.
Enjoy with crackers, baguette, or just by itself.
